At Swadeshi Mangoes, operated by Swadeshi Mangoes LLC, we take pride in offering premium-quality Indian mangoes sourced and handled with care.

Because mangoes are highly perishable, all orders are final once picked up.

1. Inspection at Pickup

Customers are responsible for inspecting their mango box at the time of pickup.

If there is a major issue with the order, such as the wrong variety or significant visible spoilage affecting a large portion of the box, the issue must be reported immediately at pickup.

2. No Returns, Exchanges, or Refunds After Pickup

Once an order has been picked up and accepted by the customer, no returns, refunds, exchanges, replacements, or credits will be provided.

We do not provide refunds for:

  • Personal taste preferences
  • Ripeness preferences
  • Minor cosmetic imperfections common with fresh fruit
  • Bruising that develops after transport
  • Improper storage after pickup
  • Failure to refrigerate or properly care for the mangoes after pickup
  • Delays outside our control
  • Missed pickup windows
  • Orders not collected within the designated pickup period

3. Refunds Only if Order Cannot Be Fulfilled

Refunds will only be issued if we are unable to fulfil the order.

Examples include:

  • The shipment does not arrive
  • The ordered variety becomes unavailable
  • There is insufficient inventory to complete the order
  • Customs, cargo, or supplier issues prevent fulfilment
  • We cancel the order for operational reasons

If payment has already been made and the order cannot be fulfilled, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.

4. Pre-Orders and Availability

All orders are considered pre-orders.

Pre-orders help us estimate demand but do not guarantee final availability.

Orders are only considered confirmed after:

  • The shipment clears customs
  • Inventory is received
  • Product availability is confirmed
  • Customers receive pickup instructions

Certain mango varieties may become unavailable due to customs delays, weather, flight issues, spoilage, seasonal shortages, or limited supply.

5. Stripe Payments

Payments made through Stripe are securely processed by a third-party payment provider.

If a refund is approved because an order cannot be fulfilled, refunds for card payments may take several business days to appear depending on the customer’s bank or card provider.

6. Delays and Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Customs clearance
  • Weather
  • Airline or cargo delays
  • Supplier issues
  • Flight cancellations
  • Government restrictions
  • Events outside our control

Shipment delays alone do not qualify for refunds unless the order cannot be fulfilled.
